Campaign Update

It has been a very busy few months. With holding my recent local business forum the campaign has gained positive momentum. I have been out speaking with local residents and business owners in the community on a range of issues and concerns. I will continue to make myself available to meet with you at Woolworth’s Town centre on various days and weekends. Alternatively please call me at any time…

The activities I have been involved with over recent months include:
Volunteering at Redfest in the Jazz Bar, Redland Chamber of Commerce meeting, Charity High Tea, Disability Disco, Coochiemudlo Jazz Day, Rotary meetings, Meals on Wheels Committee meetings, deliveries and kitchen rostering, School P & F meetings and fundraisers, Victoria Point Senior Citizens, Neighborhood Watch meetings (we had a great community fun day down on the point in conjunction with VMR, Paul Stanley Foundation, SES, Police Crime Prevention Unit, great band Enversity and local business support) Coochiemudlo Island Progress meetings, Crime Stoppers Brisbane Bayside Committee meeting, Coochiemudlo Island Golf Fundraising Day, Key Business Network meeting, Council General Meetings, Redlands Netball Trophy Day, Sharks Trophy Day and Hall of Fame evening for past players of AFL at the Sharks Sporting Club.

I am on two new sub committees to support a local monthly disco for disabled residents in conjunction with C.A.R.E, Redlands Respite, Raise the Bar and Bayside Respite and a sub committee for the Coochiemudlo Islands Markets which I think has great potential for the future.

I have also been speaking with Redland City Council, Cleveland Police and Australia Post in relation to various issues residents have raised with me. I am currently reviewing for residents the Redlands Cycling and Pedestrian Strategy and the proposed future link of Moreton Bay Cycleway. You can be assured I am listening to your concerns and taking action.
